FNF is currently seeking expressions of interest from Welders / Boilermakers & Fire Sentry / TA's

Far North Fabrication Pty Ltd (FNF) is a family owned and operated Australian fabrication, ship repair and boat building business with a fixed base of operation in Cairns, expanding into Darwin and in addition provide satellite support nationally. Due to recent expansion of the business we are seeking to recruit specialised skill sets for delivery of service and products into the maritime and Defense industry.

What you need:

  • Proactive approach to safety in the workplace.
  • A team player with a professional work ethic, taking pride in quality of workmanship.
  • A relevant trade qualification
  • Experience with aluminium fabrication or welding is essential.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings

Essential:

  • Industry White Card

  • Current C class Drivers Licence

  • Reliable transport

  • Own basic tools

  • Right to work in Australia

  • Able to pass industry medicals

  • Criminal history checks – where required

Highly regarded:

  • DNV-GL Welding certification or similar

  • Weld and fabricate in accordance with IACS47

  • Experience with Defense assets.

  • Forklift Ticket

  • Working at Heights

  • EWP

  • Confined Space

  • First Aid

  • Dogging
